Our 1-1 private latin dance lessons for salsa and bachata are great for all levels! These 45-minute lessons are fully customized to meet your unique goals.
For Beginner Level Students
For beginners looking into private latin dance lessons, we help you grasp the fundamentals in a calm, welcoming environment. Learn at your own pace and get comfortable with:
- The basics of salsa or bachata, including fundamental steps
- Basic combinations that allow you to confidently dance to an entire song
- Musicality, beat, and rhythm, so you can hear the “1” in salsa and bachata songs
For Intermediate Students
For intermediate students, we can use 1-1’s to refine more complex skills, including:
- Complex combinations and patterns
- Body movement, including ladies’ styling, body rolls, and more

How long are your private dance lessons?
Our private lessons are 45 minutes of one-on-one instruction with a skilled salsa or bachata instructor.
Do I have to schedule my private lesson at a specific time or place?
No – we like to work around your schedule, and we like to come to an area that is convenient to you. When you call to schedule your private, we will find a time that works best for you – it can be any day of the week, morning or evening. We also rent various studios throughout Orange County for our private lessons, including in Westminster, Garden Grove, Irvine, and Costa Mesa.
How do I schedule a private lesson?
To schedule your private lesson, simply call us or text at 310-923-3391. Once we receive your deposit, we will get you scheduled!
Why invest in private dance classes rather than group lessons?
Oftentimes, students feel overwhelmed during group dance lessons, or like they cannot get the personalized attention they’re looking for to advance their dancing quickly.
If this sounds familiar, then private lessons may be a worthwhile investment for you.
How many private lessons do I need to take to be good at salsa or bachata?
If you are a beginner who is just learning to dance, we recommend that you take five private dance classes to feel proficient and confident in your Latin dance style of choice. If you are taking private lessons for a wedding dance or special event, we recommend that you take at least 5-10 classes to master the choreography.
Who will my instructor be?
Your instructor will be assigned when you call to schedule your private lesson based on time and availability. All of our instructors are expertly trained. If you do not like your instructor, you can call and ask for someone else at any time.
Can I bring someone with me to my private lesson?
Yes, you can always bring a partner to your private lessons at no extra charge. If that person is not interested in learning, they are welcome to wait in the studio while you take your lesson.
